Delete Account and Data
This page explains how users of Niramay DocConnect can request deletion of their account and associated app data.

How to Request Deletion
- Send an email to vanadocsupport@gmail.com.
- Use the subject
Delete Niramay DocConnect account. - Include the Google account email used to sign in to the app and the package name
com.vana.health.doc.in.
We may ask for information needed to verify account ownership before deleting data. Do not send passwords, OTP codes, government IDs, medical records, or payment details in the request.
Data Deleted
After a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymize data associated with the account where reasonably possible, including:
- Firebase Authentication account records controlled by the app.
- Admin, doctor, helper, clinic, and profile records associated with the requesting account.
- Schedule, operational, and booking records that are not required for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
- Uploaded profile or clinic files associated with the account, where applicable.
Data That May Be Retained
Some records may be retained for a limited time when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, audit logs, dispute resolution, or backup recovery. Records connected to other users, such as completed appointment history needed by a hospital or patient, may be retained in minimized form where required for legitimate operational or legal reasons.
Processing Time
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days unless a longer period is required by law, security review, or operational constraints.
Account Access After Deletion
After deletion, you may lose access to hospital, doctor, schedule, helper, and booking management features. Some public provider information may stop appearing to patients after deletion is completed.
